General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Respect for your privacy is very important to us and we are committed to protecting your personal data. In this way, we describe all the information that results in data collection, in addition to the cookies described above.

In regard to cookies, our website does not perform any type of tracking that allows identifying a visitor to correlate with an individual, exact location, or any other data that allows identifying individuals.

On our website there are 3 forms that will collect data to two different platforms:

- Courses signup form (data saved on our Website database)

- Contacts form (data saved on our Website database)

- Newsletter (data saved on our Newsletter database)

Regarding our Newsletter system, we are only collecting e-mail addresses. Currently Patrão Mor is not sharing the data with any other entity (except DGRM) or partner, although the user can choose whether to accept the sharing of data. In this way, the user will be safeguarded in the event that data is later shared with partners. When this happens, we will list the partner entities on this same page.

In the courses signup form, all field data is collected and stored in our internal database. All these details and data are shared with DGRM (Direcção Regional dos Recursos Naturais, Segurança e Serviços Marítimos - https://www.dgrm.mm.gov.pt) with the only purpose of issuing legal documentation related with the attendance of our trainings, as well as for the issuing of the legal permit and license. No other entity is involved in this data share, and Patrão Mor always communicates to DGRM that all the shared data with them cannot be shared with other third-party entities.

As seen on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the visitors have the right of information about which data is being collected about themselves, request access to the data, change it and/or request full removal of the data from our servers. Our website respects this freedom on all our forms. Our system sends all the collected information via e-mail and allows the user to check, review and request changes to it or ask to be fully removed from our servers
